Mainting your smooth hairless skin wax will depend on your hair. Usually, for coarse hair, we recommend to come in every 3 weeks. Finer hair or follicles that are farther apart from each other can be treated every 4 weeks. Our aesthetician will assess you on the first appointment and make a recommendation accordingly. Additionally, SBK offers a maintenance plan at a lower rate.

If you keep up with waxing, shaving will not be needed! Investing your time on maintaining your work is SO WORTH IT! For best results, we recommend not shaving during waxing sessions.

It's best to come to your appointment clean and without any products applied, including lotions and powders.
We offer in-service trimming, but you're welcome to trim beforehand. Hair should be about 1/4" long for best results.

The best aftercare is to leave the treated area alone for 24 hours, and apply coconut oil if irritation persists. Coconut oil is antimicrobial and anti-fungal, and it helps with ingrown hairs as well.
We also recommend not going on bike rides, swimming in pools, or any other activity that might trigger irritation. Waxing is also exfoliating and the area will be sensitive the first 24 hours.
